Grandslam for Malmö at MIPIM

On one of the world's largest real estate fairs - MIPIM in Cannes, France, Malmö scooped two prestigious awards on March 14th.
The MIPIM Awards own "Best Futura Project" category went to HSB's project Culture Casbah. Malmö / Copenhagen booth also received the magazine "Real estate world's" award for best Nordic / Baltic stand during the fair.
 
Culture Casbah 2010 won an international architectural competition for the design of a tower, "Törnrosen Tower", in Rosengård. The winning proposal was developed by Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects A / S, Denmark. The architects' vision was to strengthen Rosengård while creating a landmark in eastern Malmö.

Young Malmö is a magazine/inlay with news, stories and future plans in business, trade, industry, building and more in Sweden's third largest city - Malmö.

Among the stories are Chef Tareq Taylor's new BBC show Nordic Cookery and Malmö's plans when hosting the world's largest TV event (not counting sport) - Eurovision Song Contest in May 2013.

Port of Helsingborg and Copenhagen Malmö Port look to create strong new port operation

Helsingborgs Hamn AB (HHAB), the company behind Port of Helsingborg, and Copenhagen Malmö Port AB (CMP AB) signed a letter of intent to investigate the scope for creating a joint port authority.

The boards at both companies have approved a decision to look into the possibility of enhanced cooperation between these two port operators. The objective is to create a strong new port operation for the Øresund region, providing a broader range of services and thus an improved customer offering.
