Öresund - two countries, one region
Malmö is located in the Øresund region, an area consisting of Skåne and Själland. With its 3.7 million people, this new conurbation, one of Europe's most expansive and offers everything a company needs to invest and grow.
Öresund cooperation
Malmö and Copenhagen adopted a vision of cooperation and integration in the spring of 2000. The vision commits the two towns to work towards a feeling of a continuous urban area for the residents.
Through close cooperation, the Malmö and Copenhagen contribute to the creation of a joint Öresund Region.
